Dance from space and time
This year the course will not only be left up to the time-tested skills of Jochen Heckmann, but will partially be artistically supplemented by the dancer, choreographer, and teaching specialist Adriana Mortelliti. In the bloc courses, she will draw on her more than 12 years of experience of creative cooperation with Jochen Heckmann and other artists in this course both as a teacher and an artist.
The course shall familiarize the dancing professionals and soon-to-be professional dancers with both technical aspects of dance as well as creative processes in the development of stage productions. By means of concrete themes such as space, time, rhythm, dynamics, emotions, dealing with requisites and music, you will be able to enhance your skills, gather experience, and analyze your own work from the outside with clear structures. Besides the obligatory technique class, the main focus for the dancers will be placed on the actual work on examples of repertoires and newly created dance sequences.
