JOMI (Josef Michael Kreutzer)

 
Studies with Marcel Marceau in Paris | Since 1981 Solopan-tomime and lecturer for pantomime and body language | 1988 Initiation of the International Pantomime Festival in the Saarland | Since 1991 lecturer for pantomime and body language at the University of the Saarland | In October 1999 awarded the Federal Cross of Merit from the German President at that time, Johannes Rau, for his contributions to pantomime and intercultural relations in Europe | JOMI’s tours have taken him to all European countries, to Africa and, above all, to Latin America. 

Artistic interests
In his artistic work, JOMI primarily dedicates himself to mediating in troubled areas and also deals with religious issues. Besides lyrical presentations, he also uses parodies in targeted fashion.

Gestures in stone


The art course deals both with the theoretical foundations of body language and its effects as well as the interpretation possibilities that the body offers. Observation exercises, movement and illusion techniques serve to promote a conscious bodily dialogue and pantomimic presentation.

Participation requirements and application documents
Biography and description of your motive for visiting the art course. Own preliminary expectations. Good physical emotion. Training in dance, theatre or pantomime is an advantage, but not a requirement.
