The old power of things new – The new power of things old
This year the choir course will be covering two entirely different areas of choir literature. On the one hand, the choir singers not only shall become “interpreters” through the vocal realization of typical dance rhythms from Latin America and Scandinavia by means of sounds and the full use of body, but they will also become the “dancers” of their music. On the other hand, various figures from the Old Testament will be reanimated to the score of contemporary composers such as Eric Whitacre, Pekka Kostiainen or Wolfram Buchenberg (debut performance).
