Songs of praise

Songs of praise – an expression of joy, gratefulness, admiration, adoration. Praise for God, nature, love, music and much more.

Composers feel all these emotions in their own way and put their “hymn” to sound in a very individual manner. The program consists of songs of praise from different backgrounds spanning from Whitacre to Nystedt, Bach and others. The second focus of this year’s course is Cuban Music. From Latin American “folksongs to the extremely challenging “Conga” by Guido López-Gavilán, we will be singing, speaking and dancing hot rhythms.

Participation requirements and application documents:
Extensive choir experience, profound knowledge of singing from sheet music, desire to experiment. Documents: Description of experience as a choir singer. Max. number of participants: 35
