Dance in space and time
The course shall familiarize dancing professionals and aspiring career dancers with technical aspects of contemporary dancing as well as creative processes in the development of stage entertainment. They shall expand their repertoire with concrete themes such as space, time, rhythm, dynamics, emotions, dealing with partners, requisites and music, while collecting experiences and learning to analyze their own work from the outside with a clear structure.
The actual work on exemplary repertoires and the newly created dance sequences are the main focus for the participants. The cooperation with other master classes offered during the Art Summer will result in an interdisciplinary performance during the Irsee Art Night. This additional creative element will contribute to making the dancing activities in Irsee a success.
