Beate Passow

1945 – born in Stadtoldendorf. 1969-75 – Akademie der Bildenden Künste (Academy of Visual Arts). 1988 Grant from the City of Munich, Risch Art Prize. 1991 Work scholarship from the Kunstfonds Bonn (Bonn Artistic Funds). 1992 Scholarship from the Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris. 1993 Scholarship from the Prinzregent Ludwig Foundation. 1994 Scholarship from the Erwin-und-Gisela-von-Steiner Foundation. 1996 Scholarship from the Ernst-Strassmann Foundation, Budapest City Scholarship. 1999 Grant from the Institut für Ausbildungsbeziehungen (Institute for Foreign Relations), Stuttgart. 2000 Grant from the Kulturstiftung der Stadtsparkasse München (Cultural Foundation of the City Savings Bank of Munich). 2002 Art Prize of the Capital City of Munich. 2004 Project scholarship from the Stiftung Kulturfonds (Culture Funds Foundation). Lives in Munich.
