Reflection: Yourself in the image | | Dieter Mammel | "Struggle for Love" - 2004 |
Whatever the paper or canvas can hold is used to paint: gouache, aquarelle, and Indian ink. As long as it flows!
And it is all about the person closest to you: yourself! About your story, which lives in a body. Your body as a mirror or in the mirror. Your self-portrait. Your portrait. Off the top of your head or with the help of a reflection, photograph, and sketch. The course also deals with formal aspects of painting such as using colour, light and shadow, as well as composition. At the end, the goal is for you to recognize yourself in your own picture. Application documentsPhotos and copies of your own work, a short text on your expectations for the course as well as a CV with a portrait photo.
