| This year the course will be complemented with a special artistic discipline in its entirety: Besides the six to ten dancers, we will be inviting two young choreographers, who already have developed a certain repertoire of works and are looking for new challenging tasks. They aim to expand their repertoire, acquire new experience and analyze their own work from the outside in a structured manner by means of concrete topics such as space, time, rhythm, dynamics, emotions, objects and music.
This shall give rise to a lively exchange between the training and performing dancers as well as the creating choreographers.
Jochen Heckmann will place the main emphasis on concrete activities and so-called “coaching” with the dancers and, as in previous years, convey dance as a professional “form of art and stage performance.” |
