Bringing compositions to life | | Tanja Schubert | |
This course will deal with sophisticated choir literature of the 20th century, in particular, which can be reconstructed minute by minute by the personal and physical means of expression of every singer. By dealing extensively with the sheet music, the course aims to grasp the message of the choir works and make it reproducible for the listener through creative teamwork. The course spans from the “lack of freedom” of the singer, who is bound to the sheet music, onto improvisational and indeed theatrical possibilities, which enable us to experience old patterns in a new context. Participation requirementsExtensive choir experience, good knowledge of sheet-reading, willingness to experiment. Application documents:Choir singing CV, choir literature specializations.
